Ferrari 308 Group 4 – An Iconic Rally Legend Returns
We are proud to announce the addition of a Ferrari 308 Group 4 to our restoration portfolio — an exceptional project that embodies both rarity and racing heritage.
This car is much more than a Ferrari. The 308 Group 4 was conceived, built, and serviced by Michelotto, Ferrari’s historic partner for competition projects. In keeping with tradition, its restoration will be entrusted once again to Michelotto Automobili (Cristiano Michelotto) and the same network of specialist craftsmen who originally helped bring these legendary machines to life.
The historical significance of the 308 Group 4 cannot be overstated: it was the first and only official Ferrari rally car, a bold experiment that wrote a unique chapter in Maranello’s motorsport story. Over the years, we have curated a wealth of original documents, race reports, and technical insights — knowledge that will guide us in returning this rare car to its authentic glory.
Our example, chassis no. 31559, is one of only 12 cars ever produced. Delivered new in July 1982 to Francorchamps Motors in Belgium, it represents an extraordinarily scarce opportunity to experience Ferrari’s rallying spirit at its purest.
This restoration is not just about reviving a car — it is about preserving an icon.
